A Day In The Life: An Incoming Hiatus, news and updates!
November’s here at last and now we’ve reached the time of year where 2026 is rapidly coming to a close. For my part, its been a very productive year full of inspiration, creative discovery, a giveaway, courageous submitting and—most importantly of all—prepping for my new little one to join the family! There’s something about reaching the end of the year and reflecting on your accomplishments that adds a bit of year-end cheer. Maybe that’s why December’s the month of celebration for more than just the fact that Christmas and New Years happen within its weeks.
I’ll personally have only so much time to party on my end as my second child will be due very soon! In light of this, I’ll be taking a temporary hiatus to prepare for their arrival! Not surprisingly my schedule will be full of preparation for the new baby, maternity leave and the holidays and less time to maintain an online presence. Let alone write. If my previous journey with my first born was any indication, I’m in for a much needed break and will be back to writing before I know it. For the time being, I intend to return in spring of 2027, but the best way to for sure know when I return is to follow me on all of my internet channels. Yes, we all knew this little plug was coming. Considering how busy December promises to be, you may not see another Day in the Life blog post next year with news and updates. More likely I’ll be announcing an early departure to my hiatus to prioritize my personal but exceedingly busy list of end of year duties. It’s still November, but if I’m off by next month—happy holidays and best wishes to the coming new year to each and every one of you! I can’t wait to see you all in spring of 2027!
